When you are moving from the UK to mainland Europe it’s likely that your possessions will be transported in one or more removal vehicles as – depending on the destination – the price will be lower than if your goods were sent by container ship or by air freight.
We call this a ‘removal by road’ and at Perry’s we carry these out in two ways depending on the load, the destination country and the required scheduling:
House to house: We operate regular scheduled services into many countries in mainland Europe, with dedicated vehicles carrying only your possessions. We do this most often for full loads as it’s cost effective or our customers.
Shared load: We also offer a service on smaller consignments where other customer possessions are combined with yours on a vehicle to save costs.
We will discuss the transportation options with you and will happily explain the most cost effective solutions taking into consideration your preferences at all times.

Wherever you are moving to we have strong links with removal and storage companies throughout the continent, so if local services are required, we have the contacts and are happy to assist. Even if your new home has access problems, we will find a solution.
Our aim is to make your move as easy and stress-free as possible, so that you can relax knowing that nothing is too much trouble for our dedicated staff.
We will professionally wrap and pack your belongings with the appropriate high quality packing materials to ensure everything remains undamaged and as well protected as possible whilst being transported. In some cases this might include creating bespoke wooden cases for items such as antiques or paintings, which will be identified and discussed during the moving survey.
Perrys are committed to ensuring that your goods are packed and transported carefully so that they arrive at their destination safely. However careful we are accidents can happen, more commonly if we haven’t carried out the packing so we will advise you on, and supply you with, specific insurance to cover your possessions in transit.
If the quotation is for a door-to-door service we will take care of this for you. Certain countries require you to attend the customs office to sign off the shipment – your quotation package will confirm what’s necessary for your destination.
For the good of all concerned you, or an approved representative, must be present during collection and delivery.
