The British Association of Removers Member

BAR is the trade association for removal and storage services in the UK. It represents and promotes more than 450 UK removals companies (1,000+ branches) as well as over 250 International Associates worldwide. To become and remain a BAR Member, we must undergo a thorough inspection to ensure we meet the required level of professionalism and service demanded from members. This includes adhering to the Code of Practice, providing an Advanced Payment Guarantee and offering a Dispute Resolution Service, so that anyone instructing us to carry out a move or store their goods, can rest assured they’ve made the right choice.

BAR Advanced Payment Guarantee

When you move home, it is standard practice to pay for your move in advance. The possibility that your removal company may suffer financial failure before your removal date could be cause for concern, as you could lose any payment made. As a BAR member, we are not only required to operate to high standards but are also able to provide you with an Advanced Payment Guarantee (APG Scheme). This means we have been financially vetted and can provide a safety net for any payments made for a move in the UK using the scheme.

Furniture and Home Improvement  Ombudsman Member

The Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman (FHIO) is an independent, not-for-profit, government approved organisation which was set up by the Office of Fair Trading in 1992 to help resolve disputes and raise standards. Perry’s are proud to belong to an organisation whose experienced and highly trained staff provide impartial Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services to both consumers and businesses, facilitating a fair and reasonable outcome for both sides.

British Standards and ISO Accreditations

Perry’s holds certification for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and BS EN 15713 (Secure Destruction of Confidential Material). These highly regarded quality service standards ensure that our business is operating efficiently, and evidence our high levels of working practice and customer care. And with yearly reassessments to retain certification, our customers can be confident in our ongoing commitment to both excellence and customer satisfaction.

Road Haulage Association Member

The Road Haulage Association (RHA) is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to road transport operators. They work with the transport industry to promote high standards and best practice. At Perry’s membership gives us access to invaluable specialist advice, training and information, which we’re happy to say benefits both the company and our customers.
